- Event organization — Managing attendance, the program and sessions.
- Networking — Connecting attendees (only with your consent).
- Gamification — Points system, leaderboard and prizes.
- Feedback — Improving the event through surveys.
Legal basis.
Processing is based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you give when registering. You can withdraw it at any time.
Visibility of your data.
You decide which contact details other attendees can see. In your profile settings you can control the visibility of your email and phone number individually. Your name and organization are visible to other attendees.

Retention period.
Your data is stored for the duration of the event and up to 4 weeks afterwards to allow follow-up and evaluation of feedback. It is then deleted unless statutory retention obligations apply.

To have your account deleted, or your data rectified or restricted, simply send an email to server@perwein.eu — we will take care of it without delay, at the latest within one month. You can also lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority.
Cookies and local storage.
The app only uses technically necessary cookies for authentication. No tracking or marketing cookies are used. Settings such as the appearance are stored in local storage.
Usage statistics (Umami).
To improve the app, we collect anonymous usage statistics with Umami, run on our own server in the EU (no third country, no external service provider). Umami works without cookies and without cross-device recognition: IP addresses are not stored, no user profiles are created and no content or personal data is recorded — only aggregated information such as visited areas, device type and approximate region of origin. For analysis, the rough role group (attendee, speaker or organizer) is also recorded — without name or identifier. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in improving the app (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
